House Bill 3449 will protect online privacy

Abe Scarr from Illinois PIRG penned a letter in the Rockford Register Star in which he explains how House Bill 3449, the Geolocation Privacy Protection Act, will protect Illinois citizens' online privacy by requiring corporations to first get your consent before tracking you on your mobile device. The bill is currently on concurrence in the Illinois House of Representatives' Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and IT Committee.

Please call your Illinois State Representatives and tell them to protect your online privacy and support House Bill 3449!
